The 7th Annual India Investment Forum will take place at The Pierre in New York on October 5-6. With two of India’s most dynamic young financial powerhouses as Hosts — investment bank Edelweiss Capital and stock exchange MCX-SX — the Forum will focus on the continued resilience of the Indian economy and capital markets and explore the many increasingly compelling investment opportunities now available in one of the world’s best-performing emerging markets.
As in previous years, this conference will again provide investors across all asset classes with direct access to a corporate delegation of more than 40 of India’s largest and fastest growing corporations. The stars of corporate India — including the Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance and the Tata Group — have been invited along with some of the nation’s less celebrated but equally vibrant companies of tomorrow.
Investors will also be able to interact with a high-powered government delegation. Past speakers include P. Chidambaram, Minister of Finance, Kamal Nath, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Dayanidhi Maran, Minister of Communications and IT, Sushilkumar Shinde, Minister of Power, and CB Bhave, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India. A similarly illustrious line-up of leaders will headline this year’s Forum.
As in previous years, keynote speeches, debate and discussions will take place in front of the plenary audience while one-on-one meetings with the corporate and Government delegations will be available by special arrangement.
