While the consensus is that the U.S. is coming out of its recession, there is no agreement on the nature of the recovery. As a result some consultants and investors are placing a greater emphasis on risk management versus investment performance. Many have substituted “macro buckets” for the more traditional asset style orientation or they have instituted more flexibility in investment policies. What is the best response to the rapidly changing investment landscape? How should consultants structure their organizations to respond?
