The European Institutional Investor Institute (EIII) is a private membership organisation for Heads of Sales, Marketing and Distribution. The main purpose of the Institute is to build relationships and promote educational dialogue between leading asset managers and senior investment officials from European pension funds, insurers and foundations.

The Institute holds 4 regional investor meetings per year covering the key distribution markets in Europe. The 5th meeting of the year is the Senior Delegates’ Research Summit, attended by members only, and focuses on comparing operational issues and market challenges with your peers.

Structured networking time during the Summits

At each summit you will participate in table discussions and break-out group discussions. Such discussions mix managers and investors together making connections easier. In addition, evening activities are structured to facilitate casual introductions and relationship building.

This exclusive event brings together Heads of Sales/Marketing/Distribution for a candid peer-to-peer exchange on institutional sales efforts in Europe at the Summit. We conduct benchmarking studies, hear case studies and discuss sales efforts as well as hear proprietary research results on asset owner activity and institutional capital flows.

The Compensation Survey of Sales and Marketing Professionals

Drawing on data from EIII members, the survey benchmarks sales compensation for budget planning, current and future plans for base salary, cash bonuses and non-monetary compensation incentives. The research is conducted for confidential purposes by an outside executive search firm. 

Surveys into investor behaviour, trends and thinking

During the year, each institutional investor market set is surveyed at the Summits regarding their risk strategy, asset allocation strategy and other areas of interest. You will receive the aggregated results as well as benchmarking against previous years.
