New developments effecting the Chinese pension system and insurance industry
The Beijing Global Investment Forum will bring together investment decision makers from the most influential Chinese insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, banks, and pension funds to discuss both the challenges and opportunities Chinese investors face in the current investment environment.
In less than a generation, China has transformed from a low income to middle income society. In order for China to successfully transition to a high income society, productivity growth must increase. China’s polices need to foster productivity by promoting entrepreneurship through stronger competition laws, intellectual property protections, and by providing budding companies with access to financing. China’s transformation is achievable through increased entrepreneurship, sound policies, and macroeconomic stability.
Throughout the Forum, delegates will share how they are designing portfolios to meet return targets and income goals, through small group discussions conducted under Chatham House Rule.
The Beijing Global Investment Forum had a great atmosphere and excellent guest speakers.
