Sharing Best Practices in the Use of Index Strategies and Exchange-Traded Funds While Managing Volatility, Liquidity and Other Risks
The Future of Index Investing is a one-day private symposium focussing on the changing world of index and ETF investing. Through presentations and panels, fund selectors and ETF experts will examine how wealth managers and institutional investors should approach indexing/ETFs when constructing portfolios. What are some of the key strategic and tactical decisions facing allocators? Is bigger always better in this space, or is concentration risk becoming an issue for investors? Join over 60 asset managers, discretionary managers and buy-side traders to discuss these and other issues.

Even though I have been a fan of ETFs for a long time, I have to admit I was slightly startled when the good people at ETFGI revealed assets invested in ETFs and ETPs have now topped $5.32 trillion. It shouldn’t have been much of a surprise, given the versatility of the instruments, however - it does feel like this number has snuck up on us. Anyway, happy 39th anniversary ETFs! Let’s hope life really does begin at 40 for you.
