3rd Annual West Coast Sub-Advisory Roundtable

Sep 25th - Sep 26th 2019
The Ritz-Carlton
Marina del Rey, CA

The over-arching theme of this year’s West Coast event is how disruptive innovations are transforming the asset management industry, and by extension the sub-advisory space. Sub-advisors and sponsor firms will discuss the implications for their business processes, client servicing, and investment opportunity set. From big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and cybersecurity; the industry is undergoing swift technological change. How will these changes ultimately benefit your clients? How will you leverage the advances your sub-advisory partners are making? Discuss these critical questions, and more, during the Sub-Advisory Institute’s 2019 West Coast Roundtable.

Providers of sub-advisory services and gatekeepers will share their views on the impact of emerging technologies, including how they may and may not work in the context of portfolio construction and asset allocation; and manager research, selection and due diligence.

There are certain elements that attract visitors to Southern California: beautiful beaches, incredible cuisine and an attitude that acts as a gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy the present. Guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey are invited to experience SoCal living with the hotel’s collection of amenities, including LA’s only waterfront saltwater pool, farm-to-table dining, a luxury spa and accommodations overlooking the marina or city.

Superbly well organized, liked the pre-seating and mixing it up. Also small discussions and Q&A were nice features.

Registration is complimentary for buyers of sub-advisory services representing mutual fund companies, OCIOs, insurance firms, retirement platforms, wealth managers, and other asset managers which out-source.
