Randy is Managing Director and has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of II’s manager search service, ManagerMatch. He joined Institutional Investor in December 2014 and works with all major clients, as well the research team on all searches conducted under ManagerMatch. Randy has over 15 years of experience in institutional asset management globally. Before joining II, he oversaw GM Asset Management’s operational risk group and held senior-level roles in operational risk, legal and compliance at both institutional investors and asset managers, including Ivy Asset Management, Smith Barney, and Robeco USA (formerly Weiss, Peck & Greer). Before that, he spent five years as a senior prosecutor for the Kings County District Attorney’s office. Randy received his BS from Penn State University and his JD from Brooklyn Law School. He is based in New York and is married with two children. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Jarad is the head of Institutional Investor’s global manager research team. Since joining II in 2012, he has overseen more than 200 manager searches across all asset classes on behalf of pensions, endowments, foundations, insurers, and sovereign wealth funds. He is based in New York. Jarad received a B.A. in Government from Cornell University and an M.A. in Philosophy from Jean Moulin University Lyon in France. He is a CFA charterholder, and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Michael is a research analyst on the ManagerMatch research team. He is responsible for manager research across equity, fixed income and alternative asset classes. He is based in New York. Michael joined Institutional Investor in 2015 following his graduation from Boston College. He has a BA in Economics and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Faustine is a member of the ManagerMatch research team, currently based in Hong Kong. She previously worked in II's New York office in the same role. Prior to joining Institutional Investor in November 2015, Faustine received her Master's in Public Administration with a focus on international finance and economic policy from Columbia University. There, she interned for a private wealth management group at Morgan Stanley and completed a consulting project on social impact bonds for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Faustine holds a B.A. from Smith College, and Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Walker joined Institutional Investor in June 2017 and is a member of the ManagerMatch research team. He is based in New York. He graduated from Lafayette College in December 2016 with a BA in Economics.
Marc is Senior Director at Institutional Investor Asia and Head of the Investor Relations Team based in Hong Kong since 2015. Prior to this role, Marc-Alexander was based in London covering institutional relations for Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain and Portugal and he still works with investment managers in Germany as Director of Sales. Before joining Institutional Investor in 2012, Marc-Alexander worked at Orbis Development Partners, an asset management firm, responsible for their Business Development. Marc-Alexander Baier holds an MBA in Global Banking & Finance from European University London.
Charlie manages Institutional Investor's Middle East business and manager search service in Europe. In this role, he connects government investment funds, pension funds and family offices with peers and asset managers globally through Manager Match and a series of private investor meetings. He has 17 years of experience managing relationships with investors and asset managers around the world. He has been responsible for Institutional Investor's Asia business and worked in both Hong Kong and New York. He lives in London and is a member of CFA UK.
Benedetta Riva is the Head of Investor Relations, Europe & Middle East at Institutional Investor. She joined II’s New York team in 2014 to help launch II’s Defined Contribution business and later covered Sovereign Wealth Funds as an Investor Relations Manager. In her current role, Benedetta manages a team of relationship managers focused on the large asset owner community in Europe and the Middle East. Her team owns relationships with the largest pension funds, insurance funds, family offices, wealth managers, SWFs and other asset allocators in the region. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Benedetta worked for the financial communications firm Finsbury (part of WPP Group), covering clients including Royal Bank of Scotland, Generali Group, Intesa Sanpaolo, Eni and Burberry. Benedetta received a BA in English Language & Literature at King’s College London and a MS in Journalism at Columbia University in New York.
